Panathinaikos lost in over-time to Laboral Kutxa in Game 2 of the Euroleague Playoffs. The "Greens" return to Greece for a must win third game as they are behind 2-0 in the best of 5 series. Diamantidis sent the game into over-time with a clutch three pointer with only seconds remaining, but it was not enough for the Greek Champions.

Panathinaikos had a much better showing in Game 2 after they were easily defeated in game 1 by Laboral Kutxa. Their captain, Dimtris Diamantidis, did everything to keep his side in the game, leveling the scores at 73-73 with a three-pointer in the final seconds. In overtime Laboral led by 2 points when Raduljica had a great chance to tie the game once again for the visitors, but he could not covert. In the end, the Spaniards came away victorious 82-78 to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Mitsos was the best player for Panathinaikos scoring 17 points and had a great defensive showing.

Panathinaikos will return to Greece needing to win both games in Athens. The Greeks have an extremely difficult task after tonight's result as no team has ever comeback from a 2-0 deficit in the Euroleague Playoffs.
