The Greek Cup group stages concluded last week and the stage is set for the knockout phase of the competition. Below is a list of the seeded and unseeded teams for Tuesday’s draw Round of 16 draw.
On Thursday, the Greek Cup group stages came to an end with 16 out of the 32 teams earning a place in the knockout stages of the competition. The knockout phase will take place over two legs, home and away, and the team with the most goals on aggregate (over both legs) will advance to the next round. In the case of a tie, the away goals rule will be applied.
The round of 16 draw will be held on Tuesday with the 16 teams separated into two pots, seeded and unseeded. The seeded teams consist of the group winners while the group runner-ups compose of the unseeded teams. One team from each pot will be drawn to play against the other and the seeded team will host the second leg at home. Teams that competed in the group stages cannot be drawn together. Below is a list of the seeded and unseeded clubs.
The Round of 16 matches will take place January 10-12 with the return legs are scheduled for two weeks later on January 24-26.
