Despite falling 0-1 at home against Xanthi, PAOK qualified for the Greek Cup semifinals thanks to their two away goals in their 1-2 win in the first leg.

PAOK put on one of their more troubling performances in recent months as they fell 0-1 at home to Xanthi in today's second leg fixture for the Greek Cup Quartefinals. The only good chance of the first half fell to the hosts with Pelkas' spectacular scissors kick hitting the crossbar and staying out (would have been surely the goal of the season).

PAOK were much better in the second half, however it was Xanthi who opened the scoring when Younes' free-kick caught Glykos off guard in the 64th minute, bringing the teams level on aggregate 2-2. PAOK still held the advanatge due to their 2 away goals and nervously held onto their "lead" as the time wore out.

In the final minutes, Xanthi were unable to threaten the hosts and steal PAOK's place in the semifinals as the match ended 0-1 in favor of the visiotrs with PAOK celebrating their progession to the final-4 of the copetition.

The Dikefalos tou Vorra will now turn their attention to Sunday's derby when they host Olympiacos at the Toumba Stadium.
