At the halfway mark of the long qualifying process for EuroBasket 2021, FIBA have unveiled the logo for next summer’s final tournament set to be co-hosted by the Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, and Italy.

Pre-qualification for EuroBasket 2021, which featured 17 nations, tipped-off in back in November 2017 as Europe’s weaker basketball nations began the long road to the tournament hoping to advance to the qualifiers.

After three rounds of pre-qualification the field sits at 32 sides looking to clinch one of 24 spots in the final tournament. Qualifiers will tip-off in February 2020 with two rounds of fixtures followed by another two rounds in November 2020 before qualifying concludes with the final two rounds of action in February 2021.

Greece’s path to EuroBasket 2021 will consist of qualifiers against neighbours Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Latvia as the Ethniki look to qualify for a 17th consecutive tournament.

Cologne, Milan, Prague, and Tbilisi will host group stage play when the final tournament tips-off on 2 September before the Final takes centrestage in Berlin, Germany on 19 September.
