GREEK SOCCER CUP - LAST 16 (LEG 2)

AEK celebrated a second victory over Panetolikos in the Last 16 of the Greek Cup with the Kitrinomavri claiming a 1:0 victory (5:0 on aggregate) in Tuesday’s second leg.

After an emphatic 0:4 victory over Panetolikos in the first leg, AEK booked their place in the quarter-final of the Greek Cup with a 1:0 win in Tuesday’s second leg. The only goal of the match was scored by Lopez midway through the second half after a great link up with AEK’s new winter signing, Masoud Shojaei. The Iranian international provided the assist for AEK’s only goal of the match and put on a convincing performance for the hosts.

AEK are the third to team to claim their place in the quarter-finals of the Cup along with Panionios and PAOK, who were victorious earlier today.
