AEK are set to get a well-deserved payday following the club’s triumph in the FIBA Basketball Champions League…

AEK are set to reap the rewards of a successful run in the FIBA Basketball Champions League after a 100-94 win over AS Monaco in Sunday’s Final assured the Vasilissa of a €1 million payday.
 
AEK, who joined Spanish side Iberostar Tenerife as two sides to host and win the Final Four, will also benefit from hosting the Final Four at the OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall.
 
In addition to the €1 million prize money, AEK will also receive a percentage of ticket sales for hosting the semi-finals and the Final on their homecourt.

AEK’s payday could go a long way in improving the squad in the offseason as the club will certainly look to repeat as champions in next season’s edition of the competition.
