AEK unveil jerseys for 2019/2020 campaign

As the European basketball season nears its curtain-raiser, AEK have revealed the jerseys they’ll wear in the Basket League and the Basketball Champions League this season.

AEK’s iconic Dikefalos Aetos will feature prominently on some of the club’s new jerseys as the club revealed jerseys with a giant watermark of the club’s double-headed eagle crest.

The stand-out Dikefalos Aetos design will be an exclusive jersey design for the AEK’s Basketball Champions League campaign, as the club looks to establish its brand on the European scene with AEK written in large font on the front of the jersey as well.

AEK’s jersey for domestic duties in the Basket League and the Greek Cup will feature a more traditional look with the Dikefalos Aetos instead featuring on the shorts, though the front of the jersey will only feature the club’s crest and not any lettering.

FILA has once again signed-on to produce the club’s jersey, while Betshop.gr, which also double’s as the Basket League’s title sponsor, will feature as the club’s sponsor in both Greece and Europe.

During the unveiling AEK also announced that the club would releasing an alternate jersey design at a later date, though it wasn’t clear if that would be exclusive to a particular competition.
