On Monday, Panathinaikos released this following statement:

“Panathinaikos FC announces the loan agreement for Spanish midfielder Anuar Tuhami from Valladolid. The loan will last for six months.”

Anuar, 24, competes as a central midfielder. This season, he rarely featured for Valladolid in Spain, only racking up a grand total of 180 minutes on the pitch across 11 appearances in La Liga. He progressed through the ranks at Valladolid after joining the club as a youth player.

Born in Spain to Moroccan parents, Anuar has represented Morocco at under 23 level, but he is yet to play for the senior national team. Transfermarkt rates his value at 1.5 million euros.

VERGOS JOINS HERCULES

Former Olympiacos striker Nikos Vergos, who moved to Panathinaikos from the Erythrolefki during the summer transfer window as a free agent, has now joined Hercules in Spain on a six-month loan:

“Hercules announces the transfer of Nikos Vergos. The Greek striker joins from Panathinaikos, and he has also previously played for Olympiacos, Elche CF, Real Madrid Castilla and Vasas FC.”

Vergos, 24, did not play in a single game for Panathinaikos in the first half of the season. His contract with the Athens-based club runs until June 2021.

NAGY SET TO SIGN

Dominik Nagy has reportedly touched down in Athens as he prepares to join Panathinaikos on loan from Legia Warsaw until the season ends.

Panathinaikos will subsequently be able to sign Nagy on a permanent basis in the summer if they activate his release clause of 1.5 million.

Nagy, a 24-year-old Hungarian winger currently on the books of Legia in Poland, has played in 19 matches across all tournaments in the 2019/2020 campaign, popping up with one goal and one assists in the Ekstraklasa. Panathinaikos are expected to formally unveil his signing after Nagy passes his required medical tests.

Also, at the same time, a share capital increase of five million was approved by the Panathinaikos board.

Panathinaikos are sat in sixth place of the Super League after 18 rounds with 25 points on the board.
