APOLLON SMYRNIS 2-1 AOK KERKYRA

Kerkyra, seemingly doomed to relegation, gave Apollon Smyrnis a fright in Nea Smyrni.

In the 27th minute of proceedings, Panagiotis Panagiotidis handed Kerkyra an unlikely lead at the Nea Smyrni Stadium, but Apollon Smyrnis promptly fought back with an equaliser from Marko Markovski. Diamantis Chouchoumis subsequently grabbed the winner in the second half to secure a win for the home side.

Apollon Smyrnis, sitting in second place, are four points behind leaders PAS Giannina. PAS, however, do have a game in hand.

This game was played in Nea Smyrni because of the pitch being replaced at the Georgios Kamaras Stadium.

PANACHAIKI 2-0 ERGOTELIS

Eager to move into the top half of the table, Panachaiki earned an important victory at home to Ergotelis, with Dimitris Mavrias and Nestoras Mytidis both scoring during the first half.

As a result of this victory, Panachaiki, sitting in eighth position, are now only three points behind sixth-placed Ergotelis with 18 rounds in the books.

This marked Panachaiki’s first victory in three. Ergotelis, for their part, haven’t won two in a row since early January.

APOLLON LARISSA 0-1 FC CHANIA

Chania are pushing for second. Undefeated since 2019, the Cretans extended their winning streak to three games, seeing off Apollon Larissa 1-0 on the road with Ousmane Sountoura scoring the only goal of the match in the 78th minute of play.

Apollon Larissa had been reduced to 10 men in the first half when Angelos Karatasios was sent off.

Chania are now only two points behind Apollon Smyrnis as they continue to chase second. Apollon Larissa, on the other hand, are without a victory in four matches as they languish in seventh place.

APOLLON PONTOU 1-3 AE KARAISKAKIS

Apollon Pontou, rooted at the foot of the Super League 2 table with -3 points on the board, were defeated 3-1 by AE Karaiskakis at home on Saturday afternoon.

Leonidas Kyvelidis, Kristian Kushta and Christos Almpanis struck gold for Karaiskakis, while Marios Christodoulou did at least score one for the home team.

Karaiskakis are in fifth place as they keep in touch with the leading pack.
