Bakasetas rescues Alanyaspor with fantastic goal

Tasos Bakasetas continued his excellent campaign with Alanyaspor on Monday evening, scoring a spectacular equaliser in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Trabzonspor at home.

Bakasetas has flourished since moving to Turkey from AEK last summer. In the fifth minute of stoppage time against title challengers Trabzonspor at home, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder came to the rescue again for Alanyaspor, beating his opponent for skill before unleashing a powerful attempt which flew under the goalkeeper and into the net. Bakasetas’ stunning goal salvaged a dramatic point for Alanyaspor as their pulsating match with Trabzonspor ended level at 2-2.

Bakasetas and Georgios Tzavellas played the entire 90 minutes for Alanyaspor. At the moment, Alanyaspor occupy sixth position of the Turkish Super Lig with 44 points, three behind fifth-placed Besiktas. 

So far, Bakasetas has made 36 appearances across all competitions for Alanyaspor, contributing with 11 goals and seven assists.
