Bakasetas scores in crucial Alanyaspor triumph
Tasos Bakasetas scored a vital goal for Alanyaspor in a dramatic 3-2 triumph over Konyaspor in the concluding round of the 2019/2020 Turkish Super Lig campaign.

With only 10 minutes remaining, and Alanyaspor trailing by one goal, Bakasetas came to the rescue for his team. After collecting a pass on the left flank, the 27-year-old subsequently moved to a shooting position, before lashing a powerful attempt beyond Konyaspor goalkeeper Mahmut Ertuğrul Taşkıran. Alanyaspor grabbed the winning goal just seven minutes later to clinch their 3-2 victory.
As a result of their win, Alanyaspor have finished the season in fifth place, meaning they will participate in the qualifying rounds of the 2020/2021 UEFA Europa League if Trabzonspor lose their appeal against their European ban.
In his debut campaign in Turkey, Bakasetas starred for Alanyaspor, scoring nine goals in the Super Lig alone. Bakasetas has fellow Greeks Georgios Tzavellas and Manolis Siopis for company at the club.
Both Bakasetas and Siopis were used as a substitutes against Konyaspor in the 36th and 69th minutes respectively. Tzavellas remained on the bench.
