Big wins for Ergotelis and Panachaiki

Both Ergotelis and Panachaiki recorded 4-0 victories over Kerkyra and Apollon Larissa, respectively, in Friday’s Super League 2 action.

Ergotelis had an easy afternoon against winless Kerkyra as the Cretans came away 0-4 winners on the road. Efford opened the scoring in the 29th minute, and Barata wrapped up the match six minutes later with his marker. After the restart, Efford found the back of the net twice on two more occasions (48, 70) to finish the game with a hat-trick. 

Ergotelis moved up with fifth place with 25 points, while Kerkyra are bottom of the table with -3 points along with Apollon Pontou.

Like Ergotelis, Panachaiki cruised to victory on Friday by defeating Apollon Larissa 4-0 in Patra. The game was put out of reach by the 32nd minute as Panachaiki were ahead 3-0. Anakoglou opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Mytidis struck twice (15, 32) to give the Patra side a comfortable lead. Masouras tacked on a fourth goal for the hosts eight minutes before the end to form the final 4-0 scoreline. Apollon Larissa played the last 25 minutes with ten men after Gustavo was sent off with a second yellow card offense. 

Panachaiki are in eighth place with 22 points while Apollon Larissa are tied for third with in-form Levadiakos on 26 points.
