Bourousis 10th in all-time national team appearances and points

Giannis Bourousis has broken into the top 10 in terms of appearances and points for the senior Greek national team.

Bourousis, 35, is currently preparing to represent Greece at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China. Last week, the commanding center competed at the Acropolis Tournament in Athens, and he also played in a friendly match against Jordan on Saturday.

He has now broken into the list of the top 10 players in terms of appearances for the Greek national team.

Overall, Bourousis has played in 167 matches for the Episimi Agapimeni, and he will soon overtake ninth-placed Nikos Galis who competed in 168 games with Greece. Panagiotis Giannakis is still way out in front with an impressive 351 appearances to his name.
