Chania defeated Doxa Drama 2-1 in the final match of round 11 in the Super League 2 to move into fifth place along with Platanias.

Chania needed just two minutes to secure the three points against Doxa Drama in the final fixture for matchday 11 in the Super League 2. The hosts opened the scoring in the 33rd minute with Andreou’s header, and just two minutes later, in a similar fashion, Kouskounas doubled the Cretan’s lead to put them firmly in control.

The visitors managed to pull one back three minutes after the restart through Plegas’ effort, but despite pressing for an equalizer, Doxa were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline.

The result moves Chani up to 17 points into fifth place along with fellow Cretan side, Platanias, while Doxa Drama sit lowly in tenth place at the midway point of the season.
