Just past the halfway stage of the 2019/20 Greek Super League 1 season, the races for the title, top six, and relegation positions are starting to take shape.

A glance at the statistics suggest the more successful sides in the division have at least two players contributing on the goals and assists fronts. PAOK top the league at the moment and can thank the likes of Karol Swiderski and Josip Misic. The two players have combined for 13 goals and nine assists during the current campaign.

While that represents a decent output, that is not the most amongst the league’s attacking pairs. In fact, PAOK’s representatives rank third behind two duos from Olympiacos and AEK respectively.

Topping the table for partnership goals and assists is Olympiacos’ Youssef El-Arabi and Hilal Soudani who have a combined 15 goals and nine assists between them. AEK’s Nelson Oliveira and Petros Mantalos are next on the list. The two have combined for 13 goals, even with Swiderski and Misic, but are second place on this list thanks their nine assists to the PAOK players’ six assists.
