Giannis shines again but result the same for Milwaukee

Giannis Antetokounmpo led all Milwaukee scorers on Tuesday night, but the Bucks still fell to a 0-2 deficit  in their Eastern Conference playoff series with Boston…

Watch LIVE from AGONAsport.com on Wednesday, April 18th the second leg of the Greek Cup semi-finals as AEK look to overturn their first leg defeat against Larissa!

The Boston Celtics didn’t need overtime to dispatch the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night as a 120-106 loss has Boston holding a commanding 2-0 lead as the series shifts to
Milwaukee.

Boston’s Jaylen Brown notched 30 points to lead all Boston scorers, but it was Terry Rozier who steered Boston to the win with a 23-point, 8-assist outing.

Much like in the series opener on Sunday, Antetokounmpo led his Bucks teammates in scoring with 30 points; however, the Greek Freak finished just shy of a second consecutive double-double despite managing 9 rebounds and 8 assists on the night.

It was Antetokounmpo‘s most complete game of the series thus far, but a lack of depth scoring from the Bucks came costly in spite of Khris Middleton’s 25-point effort.

Perhaps what makes matters more worrying for Milwaukee head coach Joe Prunty is that his team still lost despite shooting 60% from the field.

With the series now shifting to Milwaukee for Games 3 and 4, the Bucks will look to play their way back in the series against a Boston side that was expected to struggle following the revelation that Kyrie Irving was ruled out for the entirety of the NBA playoffs.

Hopefully for Antetokounmpo and his Bucks teammates, the familiar surroundings of the BMO Bradley Harris Center will be just the right tonic for the Bucks to get off the mark this playoff campaign.
