Greece fall further in FIFA World Rankings

Greece fell a further two spots in the FIFA World Rankings for the month of July.

Greece’s plunge in the FIFA World Rankings continued as the Ethniki fell from 52nd to 54th in the month of July with 1403 points. Greece now sit behind teams like Jamaica and Scotland in the World Rankings while Montenegro trail the Ethniki by just two points.

Belgium continue to sit atop the rankings while the 2019 African Cup of Nations champions, Algeria, enjoyed a 28-place jump into 40th.

Greece’s opponents in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying sit in the following positions: Italy (16th, -2), Bosnia-Herzegovina (42nd, -3), Finland (57th, -1), Armenia (98th, -1), and Liechtenstein (182, +1).

Greece return to competitive action in September. The team currently occupies fourth place of Group J in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying with four points.
