Following their 4-1 win at the Philippines last weekend in the World Group II play-offs, Greece qualified for the World Group II. The draw was done on Friday, and unseeded Greece are set to face fifth-seeded Lithuania.

The tie will be played either 18-19 or 19-20 September. The official date will be announced at a later time, as will the venue and court surface. The winner of this tie will advance to the 2021 World Group I play-offs, where they will face one of the losing nations from the 2020 World Group I.

Lithuania are coming off a 4-0 loss at home against Portugal in the World Group I play-offs, although they were playing without their top player Ricardas Berankis (world number 72). Greece and Lithuania have faced each other once before, in the Europe Group III promotional play-off back in 2012, where the Lithuanians prevailed 2-1 in Bulgaria.
