Greek players and clubs both heavily featured in the EuroLeague All-Decade Team between 2010 and 2020. Dimitris Diamantidis, Giorgos Printezis and Vassilis Spanoulis were all given a place in the team made up of 10 players, while former Olympiacos stars Kyle Hines and Milos Teodosic were also given a berth in the side. At the moment, Hines is representing CSKA Moscow in Russia, while Teodosic is playing for EuroCup side Bologna. The former won two EuroLeagues with the Erythrolefki before he transferred to CSKA.

Diamantidis, now 39, is rightly considered a legend of the Greek game. One of the best guards ever to grace the EuroLeague, he won the competition in 2007, 2009 and 2011 with Panathinaikos, where he spent the vast majority of his career. Diamantidis was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Final Four in 2007 and 2011.

In 2011, Diamantidis became the first player in EuroLeague history to be crowned both the MVP and Best Defender of the tournament, as he fired Panathinaikos to the title with an exciting victory against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the grand final. He was named to the All-EuroLeague First Team in 2007, 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Printezis has been regarded as a legend of Olympiacos since he scored the winning basket against CSKA in the memorable final of the 2011/2012 EuroLeague campaign. The Greek international helped the Erythrolefki successfully defend their title a year later.

The 35-year-old forward was named in the All-EuroLeague First Team of the 2016/2017 season as Olympiacos reached the final.

On Tuesday, Spanoulis became the final member of the team. Now 37, the legendary guard inspired Olympiacos to two successive EuroLeague titles in 2012 and 2013, and he is currently the leading scorer in the tournament’s history. Furthermore, in 2009, he had claimed his maiden EuroLeague championship with Panathinaikos before he switched across to Piraeus from Athens.
