Guilherme gets MOTM nod from FIFA 20

Guilherme’s heroics in Olympiacos’ 1-1 draw with Wolves in the UEFA Europa League have been recognized with a MOTM feature in the popular video game FIFA 20.

Ten-man Olympiacos held on for a 1-1 draw with Wolves in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League tie on Thursday night.

Guilherme’s efforts at both ends of the pitch, particularly his dash into the box to set-up Yussef El Arabi’s opener, earned the Brazilian midfielder Man of the Match honours.

The 28-year-old helped solidify Olympiacos’ defense throughout the game as the Erythrolefki salvaged a draw after Ruben Semedo’s red card shortly before the half hour mark.

The popular video game FIFA 20 announced Guilherme as one of six Man of the Match award winners and unveiled a special in-game card in the game’s popular mode, FIFA Ultimate Team.

 The commemorative item boosts Guilherme’s rating in the game to 81 overall from his previous rating of 76.

Guilherme is the second Olympiacos player to receive a Europa League Man of the Match award in the game after Pape Abou Cisse received the award for his efforts in the return leg against Arsenal in the Round of 32.
