Hatzidiakos hits the target as AZ thrash Astana
Pantelis Hatzidiakos once again struck gold for AZ Alkmaar, scoring a wonderful goal as the Dutch club defeated FC Astana 5-0 on the road in the UEFA Europa League.

With AZ already leading 3-0 at the time, a poor defensive clearance fell directly at the feet of Hatzidiakos in the penalty area, who subsequently lashed a thunderous effort high into the left corner. The 22-year-old had previously scored in a 3-0 win against Twente at the weekend.
AZ went on to thrash Astana 5-0 in Group L of the Europa League with Hatzidiakos playing the full 90 minutes. The Dutch team are in second place behind Manchester United.
