Johnson, 32, was the fourth pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

This is the first time when Johnson will play outside of his native USA. Initially, the guard began his professional career with the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA, before he later played for the Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans and the Washington Wizards.

Overall, Johnson made 302 NBA appearances, tallying an average of 6.95 points, 3.16 rebounds and 1.06 assists. During the 2018/2019 season, he averaged 3.37 points, 1.89 rebounds and 0.61 assists per game, as he switched from New Orleans to Washington in early February.

Johnson competed in nine NBA playoff matches with the Los Angeles Clippers in 2016 and 2017.
