Koutris leaves for Mallorca on loan 

Leonardo Koutris, out of favour at Olympiacos, has moved to Mallorca on loan for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season.

On Wednesday evening, Mallorca released this following statement:

“Leonardo Koutris arrives on loan at Real Mallorca on loan from Olympiacos FC until June 30.”

“I am very happy to play for Mallorca,” remarked Koutris after completing the transfer. “I will do my best to help the club achieve its goals.”

This season, Koutris has mainly sat on the sidelines in Piraeus, with Konstantinos Tsimikas in fantastic form on the left side of defence for Olympiacos. Overall, he made nine appearances for the Erythrolefki in the current campaign, contributing with four assists. Transfermarkt values Koutris at 4.5 million euros.

The 24-year-old joined Olympiacos from PAS Giannina in the summer of 2017.

Mallorca currently occupy 17th place of La Liga with 18 points from 21 games.
