There are numerous reports circulating that PAOK’s attacking livewire, Leo Jaba, is attracting interest from numerous clubs from Europe’s best leagues. Reports in the last couple of weeks have indicated that clubs from England, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, and Belgium are all keen on potentially signing the 20-year old Brazilian. PAOK remain in a strong position regarding Jaba’s future as the Brazilian currently has a contract until 2023 and a release clause of 20 million euros. Clubs reported to be interested in the services of the speedster are Newcastle, Stuttgart, Atalanta, Genoa, Rennes, Anderlecht, Gent, FC Basel, and Portuguese powerhouse Porto.

The Brazilian only arrived in Thessaloniki in June of last year after signing a 5-year deal with the Greek Cup holders from Russian outfit Akhmat Grozny. He has impressed this season, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists, from a total of 32 appearances across all competitions.

Scouts from multiple clubs were present at PAOK’s latest derby clash against Panathinaikos at the OAKA Stadium, scouting PAOK’s Leo Jaba as well as goalkeeper Alexandros Paschalakis (Panathinaikos players were on the radar as well). The shot stopper has put together two impressive seasons since becoming PAOK’s first choice goalkeeper and various Italian clubs, including Napoli, are interested in the Greek goalkeeper.

Lazaros Lamprou has been in stellar form while out on loan with Dutch Eredivisie club Fortuna Sittard. There has been a great deal of speculation over the future of the Greek sensation after his performances this season in Holland. PAOK, who own the rights of the player, are currently looking at ways to eliminate his current 3 million euro release clause and lock the talented youngster on a multi-year deal with the Thessalonikis. According to reports, discussions have commenced between PAOK’s sporting director Marco Branco and Lamprou’s management in order to get a new contract sorted.

This is an urgent matter in Toumba as a number of clubs could activate Lamprou’s current release clause. Reports indicate that following the departure of their star striker Aleksandar Prijovic, PAOK are determined to increase the buyout clauses in their current players’ contracts to increase profit from their talented youngsters who are developing at the club.
