LEVADIAKOS - DOXA DRAMA 3:2

Levadiakos continued their good form as they took down Doxa Drama 3-2 in the Super League 2’s opening fixture of the weekend. Doxa Drama took the lead in the sixth minute through Sampanidis, but the hosts quickly responded with Panteliadis’ equalizer eight minutes later.

After a deadlock in the first half, Levadiakos completed the comeback and took full control of the match in a two-minute span. Poletto put Levadiakos in front in the 69th minute with his first marker for the club, and two minutes later, Bastianos doubled the hosts’ lead. The Macedonia side could only net a late consolation goal in second-half stoppage with Sampanidis’ second goal of the game.

The win marks Levadiakos’ seventh win in nine outings as the Livadeia side move into second place with 34 points, one ahead of Apollon Smyrnis, who have a game in hand. Doxa Drama are in eighth with 23 points.
