Al-Nasr are making AEK think. Initially, their bid of 3.5 million euros was rejected by the Kitrinomavri, but their latest offer of 4.3 million is threatening to completely change the state of play. According to information provided by Sport 24, AEK are considering the improved proposal from Al-Nasr, with negotiations continuing between the two organisations. Mantalos would reportedly earn in the region of one million per year with Al-Nasr.

The head coach of Al-Nasr, Krunoslav Jurcic, has expressed his desire to sign Mantalos.

Transfermarkt values Mantalos at four million.

The gifted attacking midfielder has been a key figure for AEK since transferring to the Athens-based club in 2014 from Xanthi. During the 2019/2020 campaign, the 28-year-old took a leading role with his productive, creative play, contributing with 11 goals and 13 assists across all competitions.

LIVAJA LINKED WITH MOVE

Furthermore, in more worrying news for AEK fans, Livaja is also being linked with a move away from the Enosi.

Reports in recent days have stated that Livaja is wanted by Rennes and St. Etienne of Ligue 1. Nevertheless, Livaja is happy with his family in Athens, and the 26-year-old does want to continue playing his football with AEK.

Livaja tallied 15 goals and 12 assists in all tournaments in the 2019/2020 season.

On Monday, Livaja, his agent and AEK technical director Ilija Ivic are all set to participate in a crucial meeting which is predicted to decide his future with the club. The gifted forward has one year left on his AEK contract.

In other news, Italian winger Daniele Verde has been rumoured to be wanted by clubs in Spain and Saudi Arabia, but the player has stated his satisfaction with living in Athens. Verde transferred to AEK last summer.
