McKissic joins Olympiacos

Shaquielle McKissic has joined Olympiacos after rumours heavily linked him with the Greek outfit, the organisation has confirmed.

On Monday, Olympiacos released this following statement:

“Olympiacos BC announces its signing of a contract with Shaquielle McKissic.”

Initially, McKissic started the current campaign with Besiktas in Turkey, averaging 16.6 points, 2.8 assists and 2.1 steals per game in 13 Basketball Champions League appearances. The 29-year-old forward/guard, born in the USA, is also a citizen of Azerbaijan and has represented their national team.

In the past, he has also played for the likes of Gran Canaria, Avtodor Saratov and Gaziantep. At the moment, Olympiacos occupy 12th place of the EuroLeague regular season standings, possessing 10 wins and 14 defeats from 24 matches. 

Giorgos Bartzokas’ troops return to action on February 20 at home to ASVEL.
