As Mike Green prepares for life in France with SIG Strasbourg, the former AEK point guard took to Instagram to thank his former club for an incredible season.
 
Green, who arrived at AEK last summer after securing a move to Greece from Turkish outfit Pinar Karsiyaka, helped steer AEK to a first Greek Cup title since the 2000/2001 season and the club’s first-ever triumph in the Basketball Champions League.
 
Green, who was named MVP of the Basketball Champions League Final Four, took to Instagram to reflect on a memorable season for both himself and the club.
 
“It’s been a pleasure AEK. History was made,” Green wrote on a post featuring his MVP triumph at the Final Four after AEK defeated AS Monaco on home court at the OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall.

Green will return to Greece when he leads Strasbourg in the Basketball Champions League against Promitheas Patras, while a reunion with his former team could happen should both Strasbourg and AEK progress to the knockout round of the competition.
