The dream of constructing a new Toumba is slowly edging towards becoming a reality. According to the latest reports, PAOK are hoping to receive the green light from the state by the start of 2021 at the latest, with the club continuing to reveal more plans concerning the construction process. The existing Toumba Stadium will be demolished before the new venue is constructed.

In accordance with estimates provided by specialists, the capacity of the new Toumba Stadium will be between 30-35,000. Furthermore, the arena will also possess cafes, restaurants, a museum and perhaps even cinemas and a full shopping centre. The stadium will be located near the Papafi metro station which is yet to open.

A large car park will also be built next to the stadium.

NEW CAPITAL SHARE INCREASE

In other news, PAOK confirmed that a new capital share increase has been made by Ivan Savvidis, with the amount standing at 10 million euros. The increase was approved by the Board of Directors last week.

PAOK are currently involved in a fight with AEK for second position of the 2019/2020 Super League and a berth in the UEFA Champions League. The two teams are currently locked on 52 points each.
