Last week, the Disciplinary Committee released this following statement:

“As a result of the behaviour of the fans, there is a total fine of sixty-one thousand five hundred (61,500) euros and a penalty of two matches with no supporters.”

The punishment was dished out following violent skirmishes before the Olympiacos - PAOK derby on December 1. While there were no problems inside the Karaiskakis Stadium itself, a group consisting of an estimated 20 Olympiacos fans angrily approached the PAOK players when they arrived at the arena, before fights with riot police subsequently ensued.

Gazzetta.gr released this video:

After the news became public, Olympiacos did launch an appeal, but it was subsequently rejected by the governing body.

Olympiacos will now host AE Larissa and Panathinaikos inside an empty stadium. The Derby of the Eternal Enemies is scheduled to be played on January 5.

In the 2017/2018 season, the same match-up was also played at a deserted Karaiskakis Stadium, as Panathinaikos equalised with a late penalty to snatch a 1-1 draw.

The Erythrolefki currently occupy joint first place of the standings with PAOK, holding 31 points after 13 rounds. Olympiacos will face Asteras in Tripoli on Sunday.
