Olympiacos’ 2018/19 Greek SuperLeague schedule
 

Last year, Olympiacos endured their worst season in recent memory, but the Thrylos have a chance to make amends in the upcoming 2018/2019 Super League campaign. AGONAsport takes a closer look at the club’s schedule.

Olympiacos, who are currently participating in UEFA Europa League qualifying, will begin their 2018/2019 Super League season against Levadiakos in front of their home fans. Interestingly, Olympiacos will play all of their first three matches at the Karaiskakis Stadium, hosting PAS Giannina and Asteras Tripolis after the game with Levadiakos. The reason behind this is PAS’ request to play their opening fixtures on the road in order to allow reconstruction work to be completed on the arena in Ioannina.

The first real tests will come in the fifth and sixth rounds. In two successive matches, Olympiacos play PAOK in Piraeus and face reigning Greek champions AEK Athens at the Olympic Stadium, fixtures which will prove whether Pedro Martins’ players are moving in the right direction. The battle of the eternal enemies between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos will be held on the 10th (home) and 25th (away) matchdays.

On May 5, Olympiacos complete the 2018/2019 Super League season with a match against AEL in Larissa.
