After winning the first leg of their quarterfinal 16-7 away in Spain, Olympiacos found themselves in a great position to advance to the Final Four. They were able to get a 10-6 win today at home in the second leg, to defeat Spain’s CN Sant Andreu and make the Final Four for the seventh time in club history. Olympiacos’ top scorers were Monika Eggens and Nikoleta Eleftheriadou, each with two goals for the Erythrolefki. Olympiacos last competed in the Final Four in 2017, where they finished runner-up. They will look to win their second title, having won their first back in 2015.

Vouliagmeni had a much tougher time in the quarterfinals, as they dropped the first leg 11-10 away in Russia against two-time defending champions Kinef Kirishi. In today’s home leg, the Greeks edged the Russian powerhouse 9-7 to advance to the Final Four for the first time since 2014. Eleni Xenaki led Vouliagmeni today with three goals, while Eleni Elliniadi also scored two herself. Vouliagmeni will now be making their 10th Final Four appearance, and will look for their third title, having last won back in 2010.

The Final Four will take place April 19-20 in either Greece or Spain (TBA). Italy’s Plebiscito Padova have also booked their ticket to the Final Four. The last team will be either four-time champions Sabadell of Spain, or eight-time winners Orizzonte Catania of Italy.
