On Wednesday, Olympiacos released this following statement:

“Olympiacos FC announces the signing of Ahmed Hassan. The Egyptian striker (26 years of age) will wear our shirt for the second time, having played for our club last season.”

Reports have stated that Hassan has joined on loan from Braga until the completion of the 2019/2020 season.

“I am very happy to return to Olympiacos,” said Hassan in an interview with Olympiacos. “I’m ready to give everything for the team, and I can’t wait to see you all and feel your support at the Karaiskakis Stadium! I will try to help Olympiacos win the championship.”

Last season, Ahmed Hassan impressed at Olympiacos as a loanee, scoring 11 goals in the Super League. However, he subsequently failed to make an impact at parent club Braga, with injury problems taking their toll.

Olympiacos boss, Pedro Martins, insisted on signing Hassan for the second half of the current campaign.

MASOURAS MOVES FROM PANIONIOS TO AEL

Until January, Giannis Masouras was playing on loan at Panionios from Olympiacos, but it has now been announced that the right-back will continue his career at AE Larissa for the rest of the 2019/2020 season.

In the past, Masouras played for AEL between 2015 and 2018, before he was snapped up by Olympiacos for one million euros. The 23-year-old registered two assists for Panionios in the first half of the campaign.
