Olympiacos confirm Mor, Cafu signings

Olympiacos have confirmed the signings of Turkish winger Emre Mor and Portuguese midfielder Cafu.

Emre Mor, a talented Turkish winger, has joined Olympiacos on loan from Celta Vigo for the remainder of the 2019/2020 season:

“Emre Mor welcome to Olympiacos FC!”

During the first half of the season, the 22-year-old attacking midfielder played as a loanee at Galatasaray, but he failed to make an impact as he competed in 17 games without registering any goals or assists. Mor, holding both Turkish and Danish citizenship, will hope to get his career back on track at Olympiacos.

Mor has played in 15 games and scored one goal for the senior Turkish national team. Olympiacos will reportedly be able to sign Mor on a permanent basis in the summer for six million euros.

CAFU ALSO JOINS

A little while earlier, Olympiacos had unveiled the signing of Cafu:

“Cafu welcome to Olympiacos FC!”

It has been reported that Olympiacos agreed to pay Legia 400,000 euros to sign the Portuguese central midfielder.

Cafu, 26, played in 10 matches for Legia Warsaw in the 2019/2020 season. As a youth player, he was on the books of Vitoria Guimaraes and Benfica in his home country, before he played abroad for Lorient, Metz and Legia.
