Olympiacos have tough schedule ahead
 

Olympiacos will begin a challenging two-month schedule ahead when they face AEK in this weekend’s Greek SuperLeague derby at the OAKA stadium.

This weekend, Olympiacos will play their first domestic derby of the season when they travel to the OAKA stadium to matchup against table leaders, AEK. The much anticipated derby will be the first of many difficult matches on the schedule for Olympiacos in a two-month marathon for the defending Superleague champions.

From now until mid-November Olympiacos will play 12 matches in all competitions, including fixtures against AEK (away), Juventus (away), Barcelona (away), PAOK (home), Panathinaikos (away), Barcelona (home), and Sporting (away). This does not include other tricky games on the schedule when Olympiacos host Atromitos at the Karaiskakis stadium and two weeks later,  travel to Nea Smyrni to play an in form Panionios side.

The next couple of months will be a challenge for the Erythrolefki and a true test of the quality and depth in their roster. To a great degree, their results will decide the outlook in both the Superleague standings and the their European campaign for the season.
