Olympiacos have been excellent both in Greece and Europe. Running away with the Super League, the Piraeus giants are 14 points clear of nearest challengers PAOK, while they also involved in the Last 16 of the UEFA Europa League after famously defeated Arsenal in the previous round. Predictably, the Erythrolefki are now receiving interest in their leaders, and the management could be persuaded to cash in on a few.

Let’s take a closer look at the market status of their most in-demand players:

Jose Sa

The Portuguese goalkeeper has been rock solid for Olympiacos throughout the campaign. In 26 Super League games, Sa has only conceded a mere nine goals, also impressing with his performances in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League. So far, Real Betis have appeared to be the most interested team, however clubs from England and Portugal are also keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old.

Konstantinos Tsimikas

The 23-year-old is enjoying the season of his life. Playing on the left side of the defensive line, Tsimikas has been fantastic for Olympiacos in both defence and attack, contributing with a grand total of seven assists across all competitions. His swashbuckling displays have attracted the attention of several fellow European clubs, with Napoli, Internazionale and Lokomotiv Moscow preparing to submit bids for the left-back in the summer. English teams are also contemplating making an offer.

Omar Elabdellaoui

There is a major problem for Olympiacos concerning Elabdellaoui. As it stands, the Norwegian right-back is yet to pen an extension with the Erythrolefki, meaning he can leave as a free agent in the upcoming transfer window. Elabdellaoui reportedly isn’t against remaining in Piraeus, though, and Olympiacos certainly want to keep the reliable 28-year-old on their books. Clubs from England and Scotland, in particular Southampton and Celtic, are interested in signing Elabdellaoui.

Offer which Olympiacos would accept: Free agent in summer

Ruben Semedo

Semedo, 25, has got his career back on track in Piraeus following a turbulent spell in Spain. In the centre of the Olympiacos defence, Semedo has been practically unbeatable, outmuscling his opponents and rarely making major mistakes. Having only joined last year, the Portuguese defender is under contract until 2023, however a bid exceeding six million could persuade Olympiacos to sell. Big Portuguese clubs would like to sign the powerful centre-back.

Pape Abou Cisse

At the start of the season, Cisse struggled with health issues and was often left on the bench when he was back to full fitness, but he has since proven his worth following the departure of Yassine Meriah. Tall and a real threat in the opposing penalty box, the Senegalese centre-back boasts bags of potential at the age of 24, and reports from Gazzetta have stated that German, French and Portuguese clubs are eager to take him away from Olympiacos. The Erythrolefki could sell if the offer exceeds seven million.

Ousseynou Ba

In comparison to his fellow Olympiacos defenders, Ba isn’t attracting as much interest from abroad, but this is natural given that this is his debut campaign at such a high level. Nevertheless, the 24-year-old has improved vastly in the second half of the season, earning more playing time and the trust of Pedro Martins. Sport 24 has reported that West Ham have included Ba in their shortlist.

Transfermarkt value: 500,000

Offer which Olympiacos would accept: Unknown

Mohamed Camara

The Guinean defensive midfielder is one of Olympiacos’ prized possessions. Valued at eight million by Transfermarkt, Camara could generate a healthy source of income for Olympiacos, and English teams have already expressed interest in the gifted defensive midfielder. A reliable, slick player who provides a good link between defence and the front line, Camara has scored two Super League goals in the 2019/2020 season. He joined Olympiacos from AC Ajaccio in July 2018.
