Olympiacos unveil Martin signing

Olympiacos unveiled the signing of Hassan Martin, while Wade Baldwin, Brandon Paul, Dwight Buycks and Ethan Happ have all left the Piraeus club.

This following announcement was made with regard to Martin:

“Olympiacos BC announces the signing of Hassan Martin. The American center has signed a two-year deal with our club.”

During the 2019/2020 campaign, Martin made nine appearances in the EuroCup for Buducnost, tallying an average of 13.6 points, eight rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He also averaged 10.5 points and 5.6 rebounds with the club in the ABA League.

In the past, Martin has also represented Ryukyu Golden Kings Okinawa and Bayreuth. The 24-year-old has never played in the EuroLeague before.

In other news, Olympiacos confirmed that Wade Baldwin, Brandon Paul, Dwight Buycks and Ethan Happ have all been released by the management:

“Olympiacos BC has informed Wade Baldwin, Brandon Paul, Dwight Buycks and Ethan Happ that the club is going to use the opt-out condition which is included in their contracts. We thank them for their contributions to our team, wishing them luck in their careers.”
