Panathinaikos confirm Auguste return

Panathinaikos have confirmed the return of Zach Auguste from Galatasaray with a 1+1 contract.

This following statement was released by Panathinaikos on Monday:

“Panathinaikos BC announces the signing of a 1+1 contract with Zach Auguste, who is returning to our team.”

The Greek-American center previously played for Panathinaikos in the 2017/2018 campaign before transferring to Galatasaray. 

Over the course of his two seasons with Galatasaray, the 27-year-old impressed with his reliability, notably averaging 13.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in the 2019/2020 EuroCup. He also tallied an average of 12.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the Turkish league.

Auguste previously won the 2017/2018 Basket League title with Panathinaikos.
