PAOK claim U19 Super League title
On Sunday, PAOK had two victories to celebrate against Xanthi, as their youth team defeated its hosts 1:0 to become 2018/2019 U19 Super League champions with 23 matches played.

PAOK haven’t just been dominant at senior level. This season, the undefeated Dikefalos tou Vorra have completely run away with U19 Super League, claiming 22 victories in 23 matches to seal their crown as champions. The only game they didn’t win was against Thessaloniki rivals Aris (0:0).
At the weekend, PAOK needed to defeat Xanthi on the road to secure their U19 Super League triumph, and they duly obliged with a 1:0 victory. PAOK U19, who are coached by Pablo Garcia, earned the win against Xanthi with 18-year-old defender Apostolos Diamantis scoring the only goal in the 60th minute.
PAOK are now a large 18 points clear of nearest challengers AEK and cannot be caught in first place.
