On Thursday morning, the draw for the semi-finals of the Greek Cup took place at the offices of the Hellenic Football Federation (EPO), with PAOK drawn with Olympiacos and AEK paired with Aris:

The first legs will be held on March 4-5, before the return matches are played on April 22-23.

The EPO has already revealed that final will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Athens. However, if both PAOK and Aris advance, it’s highly likely that the game will be played at a different venue.

PAOK and AEK have met in the past three consecutive finals of the Greek Cup.

The duel between PAOK and Olympiacos, two clubs which certainly don’t particularly get on, promises to be a highly charged, emotional affair, with the Dikefalos tou Vorra looking to successfully defend their title. Olympiacos, on the other hand, are hoping to win their first Greek Cup since 2015.

AEK, who have lost in the last three successive finals to PAOK, will start as favourites against Aris. Nevertheless, Aris will still fancy their chances of advancing to the showpiece match, and the fact that the second leg will be played at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium gives them even more reason to be confident.
