PAOK’s dominance seen across all age levels this season

Both PAOK’s senior and under 19 teams have had incredible campaigns in the league this season. AGONAsport takes a closer look.

Both teams have been dominant throughout their respective leagues and with the under 19s already securing the league title last week, it remains up to PAOK’s senior team to finish the job with four matches remaining in the season. Razvan Lucescu’s men currently sit in top spot, 10 points clear of rivals Olympiacos, with 23 wins to their name from 26 matches played. The Dikefalos tou Vora need just five more points from their remaining four matches to mathematically secure a long-awaited Super League crown.

Meanwhile, PAOK’s under 19s team have dominated their U19 Super League season having won 22 of 23 league matches, along with one draw. The U19 side claimed the Super League title at the U19 level after last weekend’s win away to Xanthi.

PAOK’s dominance across the Greek football landscape at all ages has been evident this season as the senior and U19s teams remain unbeaten from 49 league games while recording an impressive 45 wins. This results in a whopping 92% winning percentage.

In addition, both teams have the best goal scoring and best defensive records in their respective leagues. The senior side have found the back of the net on 55 occasions, while only conceding 13 goals. Meanwhile, the U19s have scored a total of 66 goals from 23 matches, while only conceding 17.

The Thessalonikis’ talent does not stop their as their U17s team and U15s team also sit atop of their league tables.
