PAS Giannina move to +10, Levadiakos and Chania play to draw

PAS Giannina moved ten points clear atop the Super League 2 standings with a 4-1 win over Kerkyra while Levadiakos and Chania played to a goalless draw.

PAS GIANNINA - KERKYRA 4:1

PAS Giannina took another step closer to promotion after they comfortably defeated Kerkyra 4-1 on Sunday, marking their fifth win from five games. The Epirotes secured all three points in the opening half as Pamlidis gave the hosts the lead from the penalty spot in the 19th minute, and Eleftheriadis doubled PAS’s lead in the 38th minute. Kerkyra pulled one back through de Winter two minutes later, but Krizman restored PAS Giannina’s two-goal lead in the 42nd minute with his tenth goal of the campaign.

PAS Giannina added a fourth goal 15 minutes from the end with Pamlidis’ second successful spot-kick of the game. The result moves Giannina ten points clear of second-placed Apollon Smyrnis, who have a game in hand and play on Monday against Apollon Larissa. Relegation-bound Kerkyra are second from bottom with zero points. 

LEVADIAKOS - CHANIA 0:0

Both Levadiakos’ and Chania’s mini winning streaks came to an end as both teams played to a goalless draw. The result benefits Apollon Smyrnis, who sit in second place and play on Monday. They can increase their lead over both clubs with a win over Apollon Larissa. 

Levadiakos, who were the better side in today’s fixture, sit one point behind Apollon Smyrnis while Chania are in fourth on 35 points, four behind second-placed Apollon Smyrnis.
