With six minutes remaining in the first half, Pavlidis scored his maiden goal of the game, making it 2-0 in favour of Willem II.

Pavlidis subsequently grabbed his second in the 55th minute. Receiving a pass from Marios Vrousai, the 21-year-old cut to a shooting position and carefully stroked his attempt beyond the opposing goalkeeper.

However, Den Haag embarked on a dramatic comeback, scoring twice in the latter stages to salvage a 3-3 draw. Pavlidis picked up a yellow card and played the full game, while Vrousai - returning from injury - was introduced as a substitute in the 54th minute.

These were Pavlidis’ first goals since he scored for Greece against Bosnia in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying in October.

Pavlidis has registered eight Eredivisie goals this season in 13 appearances. Willem II occupy sixth place of the table with 23 points from 14 matches.
