Perrone, 36, has been playing his football with Hellenic clubs since 2006. In the summer, Iraklis were doomed to relegation to the local Macedonian leagues, but the Argentinian forward took the credible decision to remain at the Thessaloniki-based club.

However, in early December, it became known that Perrone has now taken the decision to hang up his football boots.

On Sunday, Perrone competed in his final game for Iraklis, fittingly scoring twice in a 5-1 beating of Italiki Akadimia:

Perrone previously played for Iraklis between 2014 and 2017 before rejoining the organisation ahead of the 2018/2019 Football League campaign.

Previously, Perrone has competed for the likes of AE Larissa, Anorthosis Famagusta, Atromitos, Asteras Tripolis and Kalloni. Perrone is expected to now begin working in the Iraklis administration.
