Printezis moves into fifth in all-time EuroLeague rebound chart

Georgios Printezis moved into fifth place in all-time EuroLeague rebounds after registering seven rebounds against Valencia last week.

After moving into third place in the all-time scoring charts in the EuroLeague earlier this season, Georgios Printezis hit another milestone last week in Olympiacos’ win over Valencia. The Greek power forward collected seven rebounds against the Spaniards and moved into fifth place in all-time rebounds in the EuroLeague. 

The Greek international now has 1292 rebounds from 302 games in his EuroLeague career and surpassed now sixth-placed Mirsad Turkcan, who sits on 1287 rebounds from 129 games. Ahead of Printezis are Ante Tomic with 1503 rebounds, fellow Greek international Ioannis Bourousis with 1603 rebounds, Paulius Jankunas with 1780 rebounds, and the leader of the pack, Felipe Reyes, with 1782 rebounds. 

Printezis can add to his total on Tuesday evening when Olympiacos host Alba Berlin in Round 19 of the EuroLeague regular season.
