Printezis third in all-time EuroLeague scoring list

Olympiacos star Giorgos Printezis has tied Felipe Reyes for third place in the all-time ranking of EuroLeague scorers.

Overall, Printezis has made a grand total of 291 EuroLeague appearances, tallying 2,998 points along the way. The vastly experienced 34-year-old registered 14 points in the match against Anadolu Efes on Thursday as Olympiacos slipped to their fifth loss in seven regular season games.

Printezis has now caught Reyes in third position of the all-time ranking of EuroLeague scorers. At the moment, Vassilis Spanoulis and Juan Carlos Navarro are the only two players to score more than 3,000 points in EuroLeague history, but Printezis will have the chance to join that elite club when Olympiacos host Zalgiris in Piraeus next week.

With seven games in the books, Printezis is averaging 12 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in the 2019/2020 EuroLeague.

Printezis won two consecutive EuroLeague titles with Olympiacos in 2012 and 2013.
