AEK SCORE FOUR AT KLEANTHIS VIKELIDIS FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2010

The Enosi are determined to reach the UEFA Champions League. Producing a confident display, AEK were simply too strong for a poor Aris side on the road, emerging victorious by a score of 4-1 with Nelson Oliveira, Andre Simoes and Damian Szymanski all striking gold for Massimo Carrera’s troops. AEK are now two points clear of PAOK in second place as the tense race for Champions League football continues.

Interestingly, this was the first time since 17 October 2010 when AEK scored four goals against Aris at the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium. Furthermore, since 14 January 2019, AEK hadn’t registered four goals in an away match in the Super League. That particular game was a 4-0 triumph over PAS in Ioannina.

KONSTANTOPOULOS CREATES HISTORY

It was a memorable day for Apostolos Konstantopoulos on Monday. In the 62nd minute of play, the 17-year-old defender gained a potentially vital point for Panetolikos in Peristeri, rescuing a tough 2-2 draw against Atromitos. Konstantopoulos was making his Super League debut for the Agrinio-based organisation.

At the age of 17 years, 11 months and four days, Konstantopoulos is the youngest scorer of the 2019/2020 Super League season. He is also the youngest player to compete in the championship playoffs this year.

Here are the youngest scorers of the 2019/2020 Super League campaign:

FERNANDEZ SCORES FOURTH 2019/2020 SUPER LEAGUE HAT TRICK

Luis Fernandez is on fire for Asteras Tripolis. At the weekend, the 26-year-old Spanish forward powered Asteras to a comfortable 4-0 victory against Volos NFC in Tripoli, bagging three goals. Fernandez has now tallied four goals in the Super League relegation playouts for Asteras.

Nelson Oliveira (AEK - Panionios), Youssef El Arabi (Lamia - Olympiacos) and Radomir Milosavljevic (AE Larissa - Asteras Tripolis) are the only other players to have scored a hat trick in the 2019/2020 Super League season.
