Sokratis scores important FA Cup goal for Arsenal
Sokratis Papastathopoulos scored an impressive winning goal as Arsenal defeated Portsmouth 2-0 on the road in the FA Cup.

In the concluding moments of first-half stoppage time, Papastathopoulos connected with an accurate cross from the right wing, subsequently thumping a firm volley beyond the Portsmouth goalkeeper to give Arsenal the lead.
Eddie Nketiah added a second for Arsenal in the second half to ensure that the Gunners progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
So far, 31-year-old defender Papastathopoulos has made 26 appearances for Arsenal in the 2019/2020 campaign, scoring four goals. Arsenal, who were knocked out of the UEFA Europa League by Olympiacos in dramatic circumstances last week, currently languish in 10th place of the English Premier League.
