Tsiolis becomes new Volos coach

Sakis Tsiolis has signed a contract to become the head coach of Super League club Volos NFC.

Volos released this following statement on Friday:

“Volos FC announces the employment of Sakis Tsiolis as the head coach of our team. The 61-year-old has coached many clubs and has achieved plenty of important success in his career so far.

“Volos NFC welcomes Sakis Tsiolis to its family.

“Sakis Tsiolis’ assistant in the coaching staff of Volos will be Kostas Bratos.”

In the past, the experienced Tsiolis has managed the likes of Kalamata, Ionikos, Levadiakos, Olympiacos Volos, Aris, Asteras Tripolis, PAS Giannina, Xanthi and AE Larissa. He last coached Panachaiki between March and May in 2019.

Last season, Volos held their own in their debut Super League campaign, finishing in 11th position of the standings with 31 points from 33 matches.
