The Greek claimed his first ATP Tour match win just over two years ago, beating Russia’s Karen Khachanov in the first round of the 2017 Shanghai Rolex Masters. He then made the semifinals the following week in Antwerp, thus ending the 2017 season with four tour wins. Since then, Tsitsipas has been far more successful.

In 2018, Tsitsipas won a total of 46 matches on the ATP Tour. 2019 has been an even better year for the Athenian, as he has now won 50 matches so far this season. Only two players have won more matches than Tsitsipas in 2019. Russia’s Daniil Medvedev has won 59 matches, and Switzerland’s Roger Federer has won 51. It should be noted that Serbia’s Novak Djokovic and Spain’s Rafael Nadal each have also won 50 matches this year.

12 of Tsitsipas’ 100 wins have been against top 10 opponents, while four of those have been against top 3 players. Of his 100 wins, 13 have been in Grand Slams, 25 at the Masters 1000 level, 32 in ATP 500 events, 24 in ATP 250 tournaments, five at the Next Gen ATP Finals, and one at the Laver Cup.

After getting his 100th win, Tsitsipas leaves Italy’s Matteo Berrettini as the only current top 10 player to not have achieved that feat. Tsitsipas also happens to be the youngest player in the top 10.
